This tool will only work if you have a podcast setup on your Classic site. If you already do, then feel free to move to Step 1. If you do not have your Classic Media Player set up as a podcast, you can do so by clicking this link. Keep in mind: you do not have to submit the podcast to iTunes in order to migrate files from Classic to Clover Sites 3.
You can either watch the video below, or follow the step-by-step instructions located below the video.
Before you start, please make sure your Classic Media Player Settings match the image below. If they are not organized like this, your Series will not carry over to Clover Sites 3.
Step 1 - From your new Greenhouse, enter your media section to receive the message below. Click the Yes, Import My Media button. If you don't see this option, you'll need to make sure your Classic Media Player is set up as a podcast.
Step 2 - Click on the Media/Podcast that you would like to import to your CS3 media player, and click Save.
It may take a few minutes for all of your media files to show up. If you don't see you files right away, try refreshing the page. If your contents don't upload at all or a few of them are missing give us a call and we can help you.
If you had an iTunes podcast set up with your Classic website, you'll also want to be sure to redirect the podcast to pull from the new Clover Sites 3 site. To do so, you can follow these steps.
Keep in mind, since the migration tool pulls your files from the Podcast/RSS Feed, thumbnails and attachments will not transfer over. You will need to manually upload thumbnails and attachments to your media in the new Clover Sites 3 Greenhouse once the files have migrated over.
